Aviation Cadet Raymond C. Kennedy, som of Mr. and Mrs. W. Coll Kennedy, 1243 E. Dayton st., has been transferred to Greenville, Tex., after completing his primary training at Jones Field, Bonham, Tex.
Kennedy, an East high school graduate, enlisted in the air corps Aug. 10, 1942, and reported for active duty Feb. 28.

Aviation Cadet Raymond "Bud" Kennedy, 22, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Coll Kennedy, 1243 E. Dayton st., died Saturday in the station hospital at Majors Field, Greenville, Tex., of burns suffered in a plane crash last Thursday, the field commander notified his parents in Madison Saturday night.
No details of the crash were given. News that the young cadet was critically burned was delayed, arriving Friday noon, Mrs. Kennedy is en route to the Texas Field.
Kennedy, a graduate of East high school in 1939, was employed by Red Dot Foods, Inc., before he enlisted in the air corps, leaving for duty last February. With his basic training nearly completed, he was to have been graduated Wednesday night.
He is survived by his parents and two sisters, Eleanor, employed at the University of Wisconsin, and Elaine, a senior at East high school.
