A Memorandum. A Whale Seventy Foot in lenth, driven ashoar dead near Mill m draught, to the Eastward of it, in the Parish of St Martins, 1718.
The Wallnut Tree in the Parsonage Court was planted January 22dd 1718/9. Mr Arthur d'Anverk Rector. Mr. Edmund Pearce Curate.
Memorandum. Mr Edmund Pearce born in (and son of Mr Edmund Pearce Vicar of Staverton in the County of Devon) came to supply the curacy of this Parish, May 5th 1716.
Every Seaman in East Looe, for every foreign voiage viz: to any part of France, Guernsey, Jersy, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Holland, Denmark, Swedeland, Ireland, or any place beyond Sea pays to the Rector of St Martins; six pense. For revery voiage to Wales four pense. All Sorts of Fish is tithable to the Rector, which is taken with stick or net by any one living within the Burrough of East Looe Cornwall. The voiages and tithe of fish has been ??? by me. Edmund Pearce, Curate 1618.

The Elms in the Churchyard facing the Parsonage House were planted November 23d 1721, Philip Pine Rector, Edmund Pearce Curate, Thomas Doidy Churchwarden.
The Elms and other Trees from the Gate facing the Highway down the Lane were planted in 1721. The Elms by the Little Orchard Hedge in the ???? Bonny? Gate were planted in 1725.
